Operating Systems

• Minimum: Windows 10 64 bit with all the updates
• Recommended: Windows 11 64 bit

General Requirements

• Operating systems should have all current service packs and recommended updates/patches installed.

Hardware Requirements

CPU:

• Minimum: Intel or AMD
• Recommended: Intel Core i5, i7, or i9 (current generation) with at least 2.8 GHz recommended

RAM:

• Minimum: 8 GB - 16 GB
• Recommended: 16 GB - 32 GB

Graphics:

• Minimum: Open-GL capable 3D graphics card with min. OpenGL 4.5 support;
• Recommended: Nvidia GeForce of the GTX 10xx or RTX 2xxx series with 4 - 8 GB RAM or equivalent Nvidia Quadro
• Note: Do not use on-board graphics cards with "shared memory"!

System hard disk:

• Minimum: 200 GB SATA (installation requires min. 20 GB free hard disk space).
• Recommended: 512 GB / 1 TB SSD (NVME) or larger recommended

Monitor:

• Minimum: Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels
• Recommended: Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 (4K) dual screen solution with e.g. 2 x 24" TFT or larger.

Drives/connections:

• DVD-ROM drive, USB 2.0/3.0 (for license plug).

Input devices:

• Microsoft - compatible mouse or Logitech product family recommended (3 button mouse recommended for some program parts; with some Microsoft drivers the middle button cannot be assigned as 'middle button'!)

Output devices:

• Windows printer/plotter with own print processor for faster output without PC load (Hewlett- Packard plotter or Canon recommended).
