Whats new in V25

The latest version 25 of Dietrich's has introduced numerous innovative functions and improvements that make the everyday work of architects, engineers and timber construction companies much easier. These innovations affect both communication and collaboration between the various parties involved, as well as the efficiency and ergonomics of planning and executing construction projects. The focus is on optimized processes for data management, working with 3D models and serial production, which enable greater precision and faster implementation of construction projects. In addition, Dietrich's V25 offers versatile tools for documentation and the seamless integration of various file formats and systems.

Dietrich's cloud service for email attachments

Exchanging files via email is still the standard procedure when communicating with clients, coordinating with architects and collaborating with other contractors. This is increasingly causing problems: file sizes are constantly increasing and are no longer transferred, or attachments are not accepted at all for IT security reasons. Dietrich's cloud service offers a convenient solution here: In Dietrich's functions for creating email attachments, files are now always packed and are therefore reduced in size. Packed Dietrich's project files are processed in project management. General files, such as PDFs, are zipped and can be unpacked by all recipients even without Dietrich's system. The email attachments are placed in the Dietrich's cloud immediately after packing and a link is created for accessing them. The link is in the generated email and also in the clipboard so that it can be forwarded in another form. Use Dietrich's cloud service for smooth data exchange.

Plans, documentation

With the V25, you now have the option of referring to multiple reference points easily and flexibly with a label, whether single-line or multi-line. The advantages of the extended labels are manifold. By relating labels to multiple reference points, the annotation of complex details becomes significantly clearer and more understandable. At the same time, planning work becomes more efficient. The new option of using multiple reference points saves you time when editing your drawings. Plans remain clear and you can see all relevant information at a glance.

General entries

A consistent, uniform interface is the basis for the ergonomics of a software. This is particularly true for the permanently available pallet dialogs for display, dimensioning, labeling and building navigation. The integration of these dialogs in the areas of erection sequence, loading planning, DC statics and, above all, in the profile rounds off the overall system. This helps in the everyday work of the experienced team and makes it easier and shorter to train new staff.

The profile has also been revised:

  • The main dialog is clearer thanks to visual structuring.
  • Extensions in the area of dimensioning such as "layer for dimensioning limits" and "component labeling set"
  • Systematics of profile views analogous to the basic views with complete preparation of the plans on the screen. These plans are used in construction and assembly, but also in coordination with architects and building owners. These plans can be optimally prepared using "profile views". Any number of profile views can be created for any purpose. Each profile view has individual settings and saves them.

Profile views are particularly effective when they are saved in the profile template. This means that every new profile is already prepared for plan output after the profile values have been adjusted.
