Stickframe

Stickframe building is a very wide spread system. Its flexibility and outstanding features, such as the use of renewable materials and the thermal performance of the light and durable structures, open markets world wide. The production possibilities range from: modular buildings; panelized wall elements; to loose precut material assembled on site.

No matter what your building system - Dietrich’s has the right solution for you. Enter the floor layout using your standard house type settings for wall build-ups, material definitions and construction systems. Position external and internal walls, add windows and doors, or you can simply import a floor layout from an architectural software package.

All definitions result in a 3 dimensional model, which is just waiting for the structure to be put in. Work through the individual walls and fill them with the supporting structure of dimensional lumber, siding and panels. The dimensional lumber is automatically cut to length and connected according to your definitions. The siding and panels are cut and fit in the same way.

3D design is only the first part of the sometimes strenuous process that leads to proper production papers. Not so with Dietrich’s. Full material, process, and architectural dimension take-offs are created while you work on your design.

Generate predimensioned shop drawings of single walls; production, layout and assembly drawings; have single slices or combinations of slices that you have defined displayed on your drawing and saved as a setting. The drawings include: overview drawings; section drawings; and detail drawings.

If you are interested in a CNC file for a wall panel line, an Internet video of the building (VRML), or a fly-through rendering - you get it, as well, with an additional mouse click.
